This is my third year here and it has been wonderful to get to know all the students, work with the staff and become part of this wonderful community. I have a masters as a Clinical Mental Heath Counselor and am a National Certified Counselor.I work with individual students as well as small groups. I believe that all students possess the skills to be the best person that they can be, we just need to find a way for them to access that. I work from a strength based approach as well as from a Cognitive Behavior Therapy lens. One of the things that I love best about working in a school is that I can support students as a whole person. I see them throughout their day, in their classes and at recess, I can provide much more integrated care and am accessible during their day depending on their level of need.
